What is Bike the Borough?

Bike the Borough is a free, fun cycling and walking event for everyone, taking in the sights of Lambeth.

Pick up a passport at one of the hubs, Archbishop's Park, Clapham Common, Streatham Common or Brockwell Park and cycle as much of the 18.5 mile dedicated route as you like collecting stamps at each of the hubs. There are also two shortcuts you can take if the whole thing seems a bit long. These are marked on the map in pink

Collect two stamps or more on your passport and you'll be entered into a draw to win a bike.

The route will be signed and there will be marshals around the route to help keep you on track.

Led rides will be leaving the hubs every hour starting at 10am, the last led ride will leave at 1pm completing the last leg of the route from each park. Dr Bikes will be on hand to check your bike is in tip top condition.

Cycle training is available to all those who live, work and study in Lambeth for a nominal booking fee of £8. Get yourself and your family trained to bike the borough - check www.cycletraining.co.uk or 020 7231 6005 to book your session.

What is Hike the Borough?

Hike the Borough is a collection of walks in around the four hubs; find out about recent discoveries unearthed during routine improvement works done in Brockwell Park or join one of the Secret Lambeth tours programmed for the day.
